On Oct. 12-19, the FCC will open window to issue full-power, noncommercial radio licenses. The FCC is asking for public comment on whether it should limit groups from owning more than 10 of these new stations nationwide.

This is a good idea. Currently, any noncommercial entity could apply for thousands of new full power FM radio stations and destroy this rare chance to put local issues and local voices back on the air. Tell the FCC to promote local and diverse radio.
