Free Wireless Web Partnership Fizzles

A free wireless Internet community for Winston-Salem remains no closer to connection than when the $7 million project was proposed with significant fanfare 1 1/2 years ago.
WinstonNet Inc. said Monday that it is no longer negotiating with Azulstar Inc., a municipal wireless company, to develop and put in place a broadband network for the city and Forsyth County.
