Raising Change for Making Change: Fundraising for Better Media

This session will feature presentations from experts who will discuss how to effectively pitch to foundations, raise money from individual donors (and complement your organizing strategy), and use online tools to fundraise. Participants will then choose one of several small group breakouts for more in-depth training on a particular fundraising strategy (grassroots fundraising; foundation fundraising; online fundraising; using media to pitch to donors). Each small group will be led by one of the experts and will be designed to build specific skills and offer concrete how-to tips.
