While cell phones and computers help millions stay in touch with friends, family and colleagues, new technology can also open a back door to spying by the government. Meanwhile, companies are mining user data for commercial purposes, often without our consent or knowledge. Policies have yet to address the need for better privacy protections in the digital age. This panel will discuss new threats to our privacy rights and what can be done to stop the snooping.
