Eric Boehlert is a senior fellow at Media Matters for America, where he writes a weekly column. He is also the author of Lapdogs: How the press rolled over for Bush. He spent five years as a senior writer for Salon, and worked for four years as a writer for Rolling Stone. He is currently working on a book about the 2008 presidential campaign that will examine the media coverage of the campaign, as well as the role played by liberal bloggers.
