Jefferson Morley

Jefferson Morley, a longtime Washington journalist, is the national editorial director of the nonprofit Center for Independent Media, a growing network of statewide online news sites, including WashingtonIndependent.com. Before coming to the Center, he worked for 15 years as an editor and staff writer for the Washington Post and washingtonpost.com where he wrote the "World Opinion Roundup" column. His provocative reporting has been published in the Post, New York Review of Books, The Nation, The New Republic, Slate, American Prospect, Spin, Rolling Stone, and the Los Angeles Times. He is the author of Our Man in Mexico, a biography of CIA spy Winston Scott. Morley is married and lives in Washington, D.C.
