In 2008, we are at a critical juncture when nearly all media — television, radio, phones, and the Web — are converging. Shifts in technology, politics, economics,and culture present an opportunity to wrest control of media access and distribution from the few to the many. Our opening speakers will challenge us to create a shared vision for the changes we want to see in our media system and how we’ll achieve them.
