David Cobb
David Cobb was the 2004 Green Party nominee for president of the United States. He served as general counsel for the national Green Party from 1999-2003. In 2002, he ran for attorney general in Texas, pledging to use the office to revoke the charters of corporations with a history of violating environmental and labor laws. His legal career is dedicated to challenging illegitimate corporate power and to making real the promise of democracy in the United States. He currently serves as a fellow with the Liberty Tree Foundation in the Democratizing Elections program. He is also a member of the Democracy Unlimited of Humboldt County steering committee, a principal with the Program on Corporations Law & Demcoracy, a co-founder of the Green Institute, and a member of the Sierra Club's national corporate accountability committee.
