CBS says the purchase will make it a top 10 U.S. Internet company with approximately 200 million monthly unique users worldwide. The CNET sites will be combined with CBS’s national and local interactive businesses.

CBS Corp. has agreed to acquire CNET Networks Inc., it was announced today by Leslie Moonves, president-CEO of CBS Corp.
