Bob Edgar
Bob Edgar is president and CEO of Common Cause, one of the nation's oldest and largest citizen advocacy organizations. Edgar is well known to Pennsylvanians. He was born and raised in the Philadelphia area, served as a student minister at Drexel University, was elected as a Democratic congressman from Republican-dominated Delaware County in an amazing election in 1974 and re-elected for 12 years. He has managed to combine religion, politics, public service and national leadership in unique ways. He has been president of Claremont School of Theology in California and general secretary of the National Council of Churches.
