Body of War is an intimate and transformational feature documentary about the true face of war today. The film introduces Tomas Young, a 25-year-old soldier paralyzed from a bullet to his spine while serving in Iraq for less than a week. Body of War follows Tomas as he comes to terms with his disability and finds his own unique and passionate voice against the war. The film is produced and directed by Phil Donahue and Ellen Spiro, and features two original songs by Eddie Vedder. A panel conversation and Q&A featuring Phil Donahue,The Nation's John Nichols and Free Press co-founder Robert W. McChesney will take place after the screening.
