Craig Aaron
Craig Aaron is the communications director of Free Press, where he works in the Washington office and oversees the group's Web sites, develops media strategies and messages, and serves a spokesman. He blogs regularly at both SavetheInternet.com and StopBigMedia.com, as well as The Huffington Post. His reporting, commentary and criticism also have appeared in the Chicago Sun-Times, The Guardian, In These Times, The Progressive, Multichannel News, Internet Evolution, TomPaine.com, Alternet, Dissent and Dollars & Sense. He regularly speaks about media issues on radio and television and has appeared on PBS, NPR, ABC, BBC, G4, Air America and Democracy Now! He previously worked as an investigative reporter for Public Citizen's Congress Watch, where he launched the WhiteHouseforSale.org Web site. And he is a former managing editor of In These Times magazine and editor of the book Appeal to Reason: 25 Years In These Times. He has taught in the journalism department of Chicago’s Columbia College and is a graduate of Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
