Senator Calls for Immediate Passage of Broadband Legislation

At a Senate Commerce Committee hearing, Chairman Daniel K. Inouye (D-Hawaii) discussed the importance of a broadband connection and called for the passage of S.1492, the Broadband Data Improvement Act, which would enhance understanding of the extent of broadband deployment and adoption in every state.
