Washington Post Buyout Response Slower as Deadline Looms

As the deadline looms for many of those interested in the latest buyout offer from the Washington Post to formally apply, officials at the paper remain mum on what kind of response the offer has gotten. Because the offer is available only to a certain group of employees -- the number of takers is expected to be small.
