"Often a newspaper is interested only in advertising what’s on TV tonight as opposed to what’s going on with a local arts center, or what’s going on with a local film screening. I work at a community media center. There’re probably a dozen or so organizations like mine at this conference, because we actually see ourselves within this media arts field as well – in this space. So I think we could probably do a better job of imagining who we are."
