FCC Begins Long Journey to Universal Broadband

Providing basic broadband connections to the 3 million to 6 million American households without access could cost as much as $20 billion, the FCC said. And speeding up Internet service for the estimated 10 million Americans who have slower Internet connections could cost as much as $35 billion.
