Aneisha comes to Free Press with over a decade of administrative experience and a real passion for the organization’s core values. She is a California native and proud granddaughter of the founder of Precinct Reporter, a local black newspaper, in Southern California. This living history has instilled her with a deep love of freedom of speech and a sense of duty to protect press freedom that she brings to work each day. She is responsible for maintaining and optimizing our co-CEOs’ schedules and workflow, assisting with donor relations and supporting the development team with administrative project management. Aneisha began her career as the executive assistant to the founder and CEO of the Belga hospitality group, and came to Free Press after serving as the director of operations for a D.C. video production firm to pursue her passion for media freedom, Net Neutrality and personal privacy.
