The federal Transparency in Coverage Rule requires this post: Health-plan price transparency helps consumers know the cost of a covered item or service before receiving care. This link leads to machine-readable files that are made available in response to the federal Transparency in Coverage Rule and includes negotiated service rates and out-of-network allowed amounts between health plans and health-care providers. The machine-readable files are formatted to allow researchers, regulators and application developers to more easily access and analyze data and help consumers better understand the costs associated with their health care.
