Courtney Morrison

Courtney (she/they) executes Free Press’ mid- and long-term creative-strategy development and content production with programmatic staff across the organization. She is a multimedia storyteller with a passion for creating community-driven content to shift how we relate to one another, and, ultimately, transform our societies into ones that are built around care. Prior to joining Free Press, Courtney worked closely with several community-based organizations in Chicago to amplify their marketing efforts through video production and design. They are also an organizer working with The Reservoir Collective to expand resources/capacity for Black LGBTQIA+ artists. Courtney holds a B.A. in radio/television/film from Northwestern University. When she’s not working, you can find her somewhere with her hands in the soil, growing food.
