Rafael Muñoz-Echavarria

Rafa (he/him) is building power and leading campaigns in the Great Lakes region to strengthen local news and access to information. He is a Chicago-based collaborative organizer who brings years of experience in coalition building, facilitation and community engagement. Prior to joining Free Press, he worked on the Documenters Network team at City Bureau. Outside of work, you can find him at a local record store, digging for the best crate finds.
