“The government should not violate the First Amendment rights of TikTok creators and users because of unsubstantiated, abstract fears around national security,” said Free Press’ Yanni Chen.

The groups argue that the ban unjustifiably restricts Americans from accessing ideas, information, and media from abroad in violation of the First Amendment.
