Donald Trump Is Unfit to Serve
Long before the past week, Donald Trump has shown that he is unfit to serve as the leader of a democracy.
He should resign. If he doesn't, he should be removed by his cabinet or impeached by Congress. The damage Trump and his enablers have done to this country is deep; repairing it will take time and collective effort. But the truth, reconciliation and reparations needed in this country start with accountability for those who have done the most harm, and Trump tops that list.
Our democracy has been pushed to the brink. The path forward should begin with decisive action against Trump, even with just a few days left in his disastrous term. Removing him now ensures he is held responsible and can't return to power in the future.
