Don't Let Trump and Musk Destroy Public Media
The Trump administration made it official: It’s sending Congress a request to claw back nearly $1.1 billion in already-approved federal funding for the Corporation for Public Broadcasting — which supports NPR and PBS. This is part of the White House’s broader plan to destroy the kind of journalism that holds the administration and its cronies accountable. Trump and Musk are doing everything in their power to make our government serve billionaires instead of the people.
Urge Congress to protect public media.

Communities across the country rely on their local public radio and TV stations to provide trustworthy news reporting and a diversity of opinions. In poll after poll, the American public has said it wants more support for public and community media, not less.
President Trump’s request to pull back federal funds from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting would jeopardize the journalism and children’s programming that your constituents value.
Reject all efforts to defund public media.
