LGBTQ+ activists across the Middle East and North Africa have called on Facebook to tackle hate speech, including posts that call for the murder of queer people.

Major companies including Coca-Cola, Starbucks, Verizon and Unilever are boycotting Facebook ads, saying the company doesn't do enough to remove hate speech.
